Probably the most expensive paper bag ever!

Here at Frances & Francis we are huge fans of the brown paper bag and use them a lot for gift bags along with a stamp of our logo in a dark brown ink. We then came across this paper bag clutch created by fashion design house Jill Sander with their simple dark logo printed on the front.

The cost of this bag is £185 and has been crafted from brown coated paper. I think carrying brown paper bags brings that lovely nostalgic feeling with it as well as connotations of freshly bought produce from a farmers market.

The idea is that the brown bag is a cheap carrier that is useful to carry items in until you get home. So the idea that this bag is sustainable is one that we admire but being it a Jill  Sander creation we have a feeling that not many purchasers will use theirs for their lunches.
