Previous how to: paper eyelashes
This weeks how to is inspired by Halloween but could also be used for other dressing up events too.
The four stages to this how to are as follows:
01. Print off the template from above. Cut out one of the eyelashes from the pair and stick using sellotape to your black card.
02. Either cut around the birds or carefully use a scalpel. I prefer to use a scalpel initially and then tidy up the detail using scissors. Repeat stages 01 and 02 for the other eyelash decoration.
03. Gently grab the joining section of the bird illustration to the curve and using tweezers, slowly bend the bird upwards. Repeat with the other bird too and in both sections of the legs and the tale.
04. Turn your eyelash decoration over and generously apply an eyelash glue to the semi circle. Wait until the glue has gone tacky and apply using tweezers to your eyelashes. *You may want to amend the length that you are attaching before you begin gluing as peoples eye lengths differ.
I would advise applying any eye make up that you intend on wearing before you stick your decoration to your lashes.
Alternatively if time is a bit sparse then you can enter to win a pair of eyelashes (glue not included), by simply tweeting a link to this ‘how to’ page to be in with a chance! Remember to include a link to @fandf as well so that we can see who has tweeted. We will announce the winner first thing tomorrow morning 11.00 am (BST) and your decorative eyelashes will be in the post straight away! Good luck!
