Helen is on the BBC!
Paul Martin’s Handmade Revolution is a brand new show to BBC whereby the initial season has 10 episodes broadcasted across two weeks. Each episode features 5 up and coming artisans and I had the pleasure of being on episode two. Here are some stills taken from the show and shortly I will post the footage too.
There were some truly fantastic British artisans featured across all the episodes and I am currently trying to curate a list of all 25 of us who were on the show:
Siân is a jeweller who creates pieces out of recycled or unusual objects and challenges the perception of what is beautiful by doing so.
Ellen is primitive folk artist who creates her pieces from textiles, paper, wood, rusty wire and other discarded junk. My favourite is her cute elephant which is featured on The Handmade Revolution. Grange Hollow Primitives.
Carla is a ceramist who specialises in crafting buttons, tea lights, pots and jewellery. Her buttons can be bought in packs that you can then use in your own artwork or simply as buttons!
My intention is to include everyone so please pass on details of contestants,
Thank you!
