girls getaway
As mentioned in my previous post I was a tiddly bit excited about the forthcoming weekend and it lived up to all of our expectations. The cottages were located just outside Lincoln in the small village of Horncastle. The Maid of honour and I drove up there on the Friday evening in preparation for dressing the main cottage in the morning. Below in the two circles there are shots taken of the champagne reception which included Early grey cupcakes, cream tea, gift bags, love heart balloons and a lot of Pims! Once welcomed and unpacked, the evening’s dinner was served in their function area with the dress code of smart with a hint of pink. We played the infamous Mr & Mrs game , which had been created on DVD before hand and consisted of challenges as well as questions. The dinner was delicious and our hired cocktail maker made the rest of the night very hazy! Fun was had by all over the weekend and it was lovely getting to know others who will be attending to the wedding in July.
