We are so excited to announce that we now offer our paper crafting workshops to you all! We are UK based and happy to travel to where your hen party or birthday event is being held. All we need are access to some tables and chairs and we’ll provide all the materials you need to paper craft. We tailor our workshops to your needs and requests. Seen an interesting how to on our blog and would love to give this a go with your friends? Sounds perfect to us! We’ll bring the no how and you’ll take away a new skill and impressive creation.  Bookings cost £30 per person, with discounts available for groups 15 or more people. This fee includes all workshop materials, equipment and expert tuition. The length of workshop depends upon the activity chosen but generally last between 1 – 3 hours.

Firstly you want to get yourself some coloured paper, a pen, scissors and some cellotape. The pen will be used to colour in the letters so that they stand out against the card. Simply write out the name of the guest onto the card in pencil, remembering spacing and perhaps a decorative heart or two either side.

Secondly carefully scalpel out what you have just written and rubbing out any pencil lines that are left over.

Thirdly pop up all the letters so that they are standing at 90 degrees and colour the lettering in with a different shade pen. We chose black because of our dark grey table cloth.

Fourthly wrap your napkin ring around creating a circle and cellotape one end to the other. Feed your napkin through the holder and ta-dah you have a pop-up napkin place card!

Helen’s next workshop will be on Saturday 8th June where she will be teaching how to make these single everlasting flowers in  mini terracotta pots with calligraphed paper tags. They are ideal for wedding favours or as a little handmade gift to a loved one. Once you’ve taken the class you’ll be able to apply your knew knowledge and create as many little flower pots as you so wish!

This is a headpiece designed especially to be worn at a vintage style wedding. We were given the fabric of the dress as seen here and then asked to create a headpiece to match. We loved the challenge of the detailed palm leaves and we wanted them to disperse out from behind the tropical flowers. The flowers are crafted from a gradient paper of white and duck blue. The blue worked well in the middle centering the busy centre. Additional images of the wedding goer will be displayed soon once the wedding has taken place.

We have been working amongst some very pretty projects recently and this shot was taken amidst a summer wedding bouquet.

The colours chosen by the bride are very distinctive and colourful. With clusters of peonies and burst of roses this bouquet is working out to be one or our favourites!

The long Easter weekend is nearly upon us and we believe that the best way to spend those extra spare days is to fill them with some cute Easter crafting. Our competition to win these little fellows over on our Facebook page is now closed but keep your eyes peeled for more easy competitions making an appearance soon.

These little guys couldn’t be any simpler to make and are definitely easy enough for children to do to. The template required is located at the bottom of this page.

1. Save the rabbit markers template and scale accordingly before printing. Our sitting rabbit was scaled to 30 mm high and 25 mm wide but you can make them as small or as large as you so wish.

2. Once you have your print out of the rabbit sitting down template, cut him out and draw around him onto your white card.

3. Cut this shape out and draw his eyes, nose and whiskers on to his face.

4. Carefully draw a circle onto your pink card.

5. Cut out the circle and stick onto the white rabbit using a glue stick.

6. Cut out all four of the ear parts from your template.

7. Draw around the inside ear on your pink card and cut out.

8. Draw around the outside ear on white card and cut out.

9. Glue the pink inside ear parts to the white outside ear sections.

10. Once they are dry fold them in half at the bottom and pinch.

11. Glue the bottom of the ears onto the head of the rabbit.

12. Write a message onto the peach piece of paper.

13. Cut out in a speech bubble shape and stick the message to the face of the rabbit.

14. Glue the rabbit onto the top of the lollipop stick.

Repeat these stages for the jumping rabbit but instead use the jumping rabbit template.
